SWIM TEAM
The Windsor Great Park Waves Swim Team is a summer program for kids age 5 - 18 years of age. We strive to promote a fun, competitive swimming atmosphere, while giving the kids a chance to improve their swimming techniques and physical stamina. This is a recreational league, for swimmers of all skill levels.

SUMMER SWIM PRACTICE BEGINS May 31st, 2022
Schedule, while school is in session:
Monday - Friday

3:30pm - 4:30pm ~ kids 12 and older who can swim a 200 without stopping & have mastered all 4 strokes.

4:30pm - 5:15pm ~ kids not able to swim a 200 without stopping & younger swimmers ages 11 and younger.

5:15pm - 5:45pm ~ brand new swimmers, as necessary.
Summer Schedule
Monday - Friday

9am - 10am ~ kids 12 and older who can swim a 200 without stopping & have mastered all 4 strokes.

10am - 11am ~ kids not able to swim a 200 without stopping & younger swimmers ages 11 and younger.
*Please let the coaches know if your child will be attending Day care, summer school, or summer camp and not be able to make our practices.
We will swim in the rain. However, if it is calling for thunderstorms or raining hard, practice is cancelled. We will send out a message ASAP to inform you of practice changes. Please understand that if practice is cancelled for the early practice because of rain, storms can move on and be fine for the later group. A message will be sent out on GroupMe if practice is cancelled.
The coaches reserve the right to place swimmers into appropriate practice groups.
COST
Price per swimmer: $100
A $50.00 registration fee is due by June 9th. The balance is due by July 9th. There will be at least 2 fundraising opportunities to raise the balance of your swim team fees.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Swim Team Committee is in need of volunteers! We are looking for people who can help with concessions, fundraising, event planning. Please reach out to us if you're interested in getting involved! Our organization is run 100% by volunteers. Without them, we do not exist.
