How to Make Dalgona Coffee at Home

Gather Ingredients You’ll need instant coffee, sugar, hot water, and milk. Use equal parts coffee, sugar, and hot water (typically 2 tablespoons each).

Add to a Bowl In a medium bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. Use a deep bowl to avoid splashes during whipping.

Whip Until Frothy Using a hand whisk or electric mixer, beat the mixture for 2–4 minutes until it becomes thick, glossy, and holds soft peaks.

Prepare the Milk Pour cold or warm milk into a glass, filling it about 3/4 of the way. Add ice if you want it chilled.

Spoon on the Foam Carefully spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top of the milk, creating a layered, two-tone look. Don’t mix it yet!
